About Me

Founded by myself (Helen) in April 2007, Solace Health and Beauty has grown from strength to strength, thanks to my wonderful clients, who come back year after year, entrusting me with their beauty needs.

I tailor a personal service and uphold the highest standards for my treatments, keeping up to date with the latest beauty trends, and training.

I pride myself on the generous compliments and positive feedback I receive from my clients.

I have over twenty years experience in the beauty industry following a passion for holistic and beauty treatments from a young age.

I completed a three year Beauty Therapy NVQ 2 and 3 qualification, including waxing, brazillian and hollywood waxing, body massage, lash and brow tinting, facials, manicure and pedicure, builder gel application, lash lifting, dermaplaning, microneedling, brow lamination and more. I also hold an Anatomy Diploma and Biology A Level.

I worked my way up from being a junior therapist, to senior therapist, to manager within a salon environment. After a year of managing a team of seven therapists and running a successful, busy beauty salon, I decided to set up my own business.

I have worked with Dermalogica, Decleor, St Tropez, Creative Nail Design, OPI, Lash Base, Hive, Crystal Clear, Dr Pen, Forever Living, The Gel Bottle and Jessica Nail Systems over the years.

I also hold an A1 Beauty Therapy Assessors qualification, and worked for a short time at Eastleigh College training and assessing beauty students.

As a busy, full time working Mummy and wife myself, I understand how hectic life can be, and that finding time for yourself is often difficult.

I try to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy some well deserved pampering.

I strongly believe my customers' needs are of the utmost importance, as a result a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.

I will endeavour to make you feel at ease and comfortable with any treatment you may have.
